It is unlawful to leave, park or allow to be parked any commercial vehicle of more
than five thousand (5,000) pounds tare weight commonly described as a truck, truck
and trailer, trailer, or tractor whether attended or unattended in any residential
or commercial zone or in a residential or commercial zone area within the city, except
to the extent that it may be necessary in order to make deliveries or to perform services
at such locations. This prohibition shall apply regardless of whether the commercial
vehicle is located on any public street, highway or alley, or on private property
within such residential or commercial zone or area.
